Der Sectio Aurea – der Goldene Schnitt – ist die sogenannte göttliche Teilung, ein Inbegriff der Ästetik und Harmonie. Er findet sich an vielen Stellen in der Natur wieder und findet sich deswegen in Kunst, Architektur und Design wieder. Zudem hat der Goldene Schnitt einige faszinierende mathematische Eigenschaften. Zudem wird das Verhältnis oftmals mit dem griechischen Buchstaben\Phi dargestellt, gleichzeitig wird \Phi häufig in der Physik verwendet, so dass auch dort ein Schnittpunkt mit mir besteht.
